Through my window this morning...
Our walk in our forest...
(A special edition *Can You Spot Choco?* for Kirsten and her boys...)
Jake, checking off another *intention* item from his list this week (to cook more)...making the MOST awesome Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Cheesecake...(he added more spices than the recipe called for and it was PHENOMENALLY PERFECT!!)...(photos of the finished product below)...
Sam just loves Monopoly...and he's SO lucky that Jake and I agree to play, as we lose BIG to him Every Single Time...(but, man, we still have loads of fun!)...
Choco's eye has been bothering him, so I wiped it with a warm, wet cloth...and isn't he just the cutest??
Jake:
'Ever reaching for the sky,'
Ever reaching for the sky,
we all jump,
trying to catch a cloud,
in our palm,
on our tongue,
try to pull the sky into reach.
The trees try as well,
watch them sway
as they scrape their tips,
on the verge,
scratching on
only the surface
of the sky.
'And now for something less poetic, and more delicious,'
Oh Pumpkin Cheesecake,
That I created,
To satisfy my
grumbling stomach.
First you jiggle,
raw,
uncooked
Then,
only after
60-70 Minutes
on 350f
do you emerge,
beautiful and whole.
Oh pumpkin cheesecake,
you are
beauty incarnate.
How can we
ruin such perfection?
We deal with it.
