'The day of a thousand birds'
A flock of redwing blackbirds that were heading south took up residence in our woods. There were at least two hundred of them in this flock, and their cacophany was just fantastic.
Also, we went on a drive, two hours away, and I saw sooo many birds on that trip... All Southbound. The variety was staggering, there were Geese, and finches, and of course...
