'Lights are now out'

I was having a wonderfully lazy morning, watching shows I had dvr'ed...
My favorite Food Network Show is Jamie at Home with cutie-patootie Jamie Oliver.
I sat there watching him make roasted pumpkins and pumpkin soup...I remembered the large pie pumpkins I had out on the porch...and I got up and got to work!
And Oh.My.God...this soup is DEEEElicious!!
The spiced roasted pumpkin slices were incredible, too...(and we used the leftover for our pumpkin pancakes the next day!)...
And later that day, it rained and it poured and then the power went out! And what, at first, seems like a huge bummer and inconvenience, a power outage always shifts us enough out of our *norm* to open up even more wonderful connections with each other and world-expanding opportunities!
