I've taken the kids in the voting booth with me from their earliest years... Since Jake got to vote, it was just Sam and I. And Sam will be voting in the NEXT presidential election!

We were WILD!! We ran around screaming and whooping and hollering!! We went out on the deck and ran around and SHOUTED OUR JOY!! (What's the use of living on top of a mountain if you can't use it for just such purposes??!)
And then we sat with tears pouring down our faces when we listened to Obama's amazing, uplifting and historic speech...It's a new day. We did it. It's over. And all is truly well.
