Anne:
The T.V. on, I was on the edge of my seat, watching the procession leading up to Bush's last moment as president, and Barack Obama's first ones. I was feeling quite incomplete, however, as my honey was at work, and wasn't with his family to share this historic and momentous occasion with us.
Not a minute too soon, I looked out the window, and there was my honey's truck, barreling up the driveway, just a few minutes before noon!! HOORAY!!! We're all together!!!
President Obama!!
We are FULL of Joy and Hope and Inspiration and Relief...
His wonderful speech...
And my lovelies taking it all in...
Dave returned to work, and this is him coming home again, ready to continue our Joyful Jubilation!!
::sigh:: All is truly well. Again.
Jake:
I've felt so at peace since the 20th. This election means so much to me, because for most of my life I've had Bush as our President, and have felt alienated and ashamed by our president... And not anymore.
Thank you America!
Oh, and I took an pretty picture of Ice Crystals too. : D
