Our "cheese board" Sunday is a big event in our home. The preparation is as fulfilling as the eating. The eating is as fulfilling as the conversations we have. Today's consisted of my grilled flatbread w/olive oil and sea salt, a salad, melted brie (all shown below), Dubliner cheese, chunked parmesan cheese, goat cheese with dill, olives, shrimp & Sam's cocktail sauce, and lemon curd and pepper jelly to put on the cheeses. We always have a cocktail...today Jake and Sam and I had coconut rum and Diet Coke w/lime (a cuba libra) and Dave had a Corona w/lime...they all tasted like summer. :)
