The Universe handed me an incredible gift of joining my honey at his conference, located at The Sagamore Resort in the Adirondacks...
It was a spur-of-the-moment decision, and the first time I have left my kids overnight in all of their lives (Jake being 17 1/2, Sam 14)...both overnight at ALL, and overnight by themselves.
I have had the absolute PRIVILEGE and enjoyment of their company every day and night...and it never felt right to any of us to travel without our entire family. Seeing the world through the eyes of my children is one of the greatest blessings of my life, as is the fact that my children truly and deeply enjoy the company of their parents.
But for *this* trip, it was a location that they would not have enjoyed as much as they enjoy being home, doing their own things...
So when Dave suggested we come with him, I thought and said, "Well, *I* could come with you!"
I discussed it with Jake and Sam and they were VERY good with it...and so the action of saying *Yes* to the Universe's invitations to All Things Good had begun...
And it was the most phenomenal and magnificent vacation...the gift of thinking ONLY about *me* while Dave was in his meetings, and the gift of spending Joyful Time with my sweet man when we *were* together was absolutely perfect...
