Father's Day on the river...it was so wonderful...
Dave and Jake and Sam put on their life jackets and float down through this rift, bobbing up and down, through the waves, under and over the water! They usually come out of it a teeny bit scraped up, with water up their noses, but wanting more!
Jake:
While at the river, Sam invented a game (he's always been a game-inventor) called *Spauldington*, which involves a small wooden sugar spoon, the cork from our champagne, and sharp knives.
Don't ask.
Later, at home on our walk, Sam picked wild strawberries, and squished them into the spoon with the cork, creating this beautiful stain on the spoon.
