I saw a movie by myself today, for the first time ever! I wasn't completely by myself...there were other people in the theater (only about six other people!)...and Jake and Sam were a few theaters away seeing a different movie...and we were texting a lot during the previews, so it felt like we were with each other...
But once that movie started, I was completely THERE...aware of my own singular Presence while watching this movie...and so thankful to be able to view it in my own sacred space and to be able to react to it in my own way, without having to share mySelf with anyone else...
Just as I have always dearly loved the book The Secret Life of Bees, I also love love love this movie. I cried so many times...it is just sheer wonderfulness...
