'No, duh.'

Again...so many photos! And all of mine were taken before 10:30 a.m!
HAPPY DAYS!! After ten years since we built our home, we are getting our DECK BUILT TOMORROW!! The lumber is HERE!!
(You can also see the blank space on our house that has been patiently awaiting a deck for all of these years, yet enjoying life *as it is* all the same...)
. . . .
HOORAY! Our first shipment of masks for the Live & Learn Unschooling Conference Masquerade Ball is here!! Jake and I had SUCH a great time trying them all on...planning and envisioning our costumes...
. . . .
And WHEEEE!!! Jake is doing a talk with me at the conference!! He's working away, typing some thoughts...things he'd like to share...
Here's the talk description:
I Am What I Am ~ Anne and Jake Ohman
It was Jake (now almost 18) who introduced his family to unschooling, and his parents had the courage and insight to listen to him, believe him, trust him and follow him...thereby expanding their own worlds exponentially as well. Join Anne and Jake as they talk a little about their journey, but mostly share with you some of the important things they think you should know about this glorious unschooling life.
Choco was enjoying being by Jake as he worked...
Wait...what's that he's laying on?
Hmm...let's look closer...
Hee hee...it's the practice SAT test that Jake and I printed out. Yup. That's exactly where it belongs...under the dog.
:)
Jake is slightly outraged (OK...not slightly...) at the incredible stupidity of that test and the fact that it is supposed to measure how much a person knows in order to be accepted (or not) into college...
. . . .
Dave's Mom gave me a huge box of Pennsylvania peaches...so I worked this morning peeling and slicing...making my famous stewed peaches and slicing up some more for the freezer...
Yup. All of this before 10:30 a.m. (Sam wasn't even awake yet!)!
Life is very full (and JOYful), indeed!
